ZOE KATHERINE NELSON

I am a senior at THE Alabama State University looking to venture into the film industry. As a communication major, I am interested in the creative and technical aspects of radio, television, and film. I want to take the art of film-making to the next level. I aspire to make groundbreaking innovations in film content and techniques.To enhance my knowledge and skills of radio, television, and film, I have taken many coursework dedicated to radio and television production as well as broadcast writing.  For my internship, I worked alongside Desmick Perkins, a publisher and founder of At The Movies.  ATM started as a nonprofit organization looking to help black youth develop and sustain a passion for film.  It then turned into an online publication to showcase film tips and techniques and film events.  I joined his team a film journalist.
